Giveaway: ARC of Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz

August 23, 2013 Giveaway 58

Hey, everyone! I’ve been talking about this giveaway for awhile now, but it’s finally here! I have ONE ARC of Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz up for grabs!

Frozen copy

From New York Times bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston comes this remarkable first book in a spellbinding new series about the dawn of a new kind of magic.

Welcome to New Vegas, a city once covered in bling, now blanketed in ice. Like much of the destroyed planet, the place knows only one temperature—freezing. But some things never change. The diamond in the ice desert is still a 24-hour hedonistic playground and nothing keeps the crowds away from the casino floors, never mind the rumors about sinister sorcery in its shadows.

At the heart of this city is Natasha Kestal, a young blackjack dealer looking for a way out. Like many, she’s heard of a mythical land simply called “the Blue.” They say it’s a paradise, where the sun still shines and the waters are turquoise. More importantly, it’s a place where Nat won’t be persecuted, even if her darkest secret comes to light.

But passage to the Blue is treacherous, if not impossible, and her only shot is to bet on a ragtag crew of mercenaries led by a cocky runner named Ryan Wesson to take her there. Danger and deceit await on every corner, even as Nat and Wes find themselves inexorably drawn to each other. But can true love survive the lies? Fiery hearts collide in this fantastic tale of the evil men do and the awesome power within us all.

So here’s the deal:

-ONE US winner will receive an ARC of Frozen

-No cheating! If you do, I will know and you will lose. I WILL check the Rafflecopters to see if you actually did what you entered for.

-I will contact the winner after the giveaway is over. If said winner does not reply to me within 48 hours, I will pick a new winner.

-I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Sorry, but I can’t re-send things.

-I reserve the right to change any rules as I see fit for each individual giveaway; I’m a fun person, not all giveaways will be the same.

Aside from Frozen (which I am so excited for), I would have to say NOT A DROP TO DRINK by Mindy McGinnis. I love the idea and I can’t wait to see how Mindy executes it. Thank you for hosting this giveaway!

Girl, I’m not sure. The Fiery Heart, I think. That releases in November. Origin, which releases at the end of August, so I’m going to count that. Trust in Me by J. Lynn. I’m all kinds of excited about Allegiant, but I haven’t read Insurgent yet. I still need to BUY that one. Uuugh. Crap.

It would have to be either Antigoddess by Kendare Blake, Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan, Resist by Sarah Crossan, World After by Susan Ee, Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken or Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I know right, so many books but I just can’t choose ! Thanks for the giveaway (:

I know, right? So many amazing books are coming out in September and October! It’s impossible to choose one favorite :)

Nice!! From The Strand, right? I ordered a copy from their website, plus a copy of The Chaos of The Stars by Kiersten White. I figured, I’ve heard mixed reviews about them both and I haven’t read the ARCs yet, despite having them, so I might as well get the finished copies for half price! :)

  4. Hazel @ Stay Bookish

I’m dying to for the release of The Retribution of Mara Dyer. I’ve put off reading the second book because I know I can’t handle doing so and then having to wait for the third book. </3

There are so many! Along with the same ones everyone else has listed, I want 3:59 from Gretchen McNeill.:)

Oooh, yes! I’ve heard it’s amazing but I don’t even know what it’s about! I’ll have to look it up now!! Good pick! :)
